Hnáta from Hábær
There was nothing that reminded us that the spring is coming last weekend in Eyland.. except our BIG pregnant mares. Then we realized that there is only one and a half month until we will get our first foals in Eyland! And it is still snow and frost here in Iceland!
Our first price princesses Hnáta from Hábær and Spes from Stóra-Hof will be first to give birth to their foals. And if our calculations are right, they are due in the first days of Mai. Hmmmm the time flies, it is like yesterday we were picking them up from the stallions and now it is time again to pick stallions for the again. We will get many foals this summer, in total eight foals - six after 1.price mares!! So we are looking forward to the spring!
On the picture is Hnáta from Hábær. She is VERY pregnant these days and is due on 1st of May! We are very excited to see her first foal but Hnáta is a fantastic mare with 9.5 for trot and 9 for tölt, spirit, form under rider, gallop and chanter!
