Spegill the fall 2012

Spegill is after Spes from Stóra-Hof and Sveinn-Hervar from Þúfa. So there is a royal blood running through Spegill and many first price horse and honor price horses in his family!! Spegill is the most beautiful foal we have breed with very long neck and takes alot after his mother which has 8.53 for confirmation. He goes on both trot and tölt with gracious movements. His character is super good. Extremely interesting stallion prospect!!

Hrafn trotting around with his mom!!

Hrafn is after Hnáta from Hábær (8.18) and the promising Hrafnar from Ragnheiðarstaðir. Hnáta is one of our favorite mare and has gotten 8.41 in breeding show as a fourgater!! Including 9.5 for trot and 9 for all other gates. She has extreme power, movements and gates. Hrafnar on the other hand is a promising stallion prospect born 2008 and is after Orri from Þúfa and the famous Hátíð from Úlfstaðir (10 for tölt). We were not planning on bringing our best mare to a unshown stallion but we were fascinated by Hrafnar when we saw him only 2 years old. We are very happy how Hrafn is turning our! He has long legs and neck - alot of Kolfinnur coming through and his movements remind us alot of his mother. So a very exciting foal.. a stallion prospect with a large name - HRAFN!

Tindur only few hours old..

Tindur is after Vera from Ingólfshvoli and Sær from Bakkakot, so there is a lot of Ófeigur from Flugumýri in Tindur! We love Ófeigur so we are very exciting for Tindur. We joked about it that the foal would be very beautiful or horrible ugly.. So we were very happy when we show the beautiful Tindur!! He has be far the best confirmation of Vera´s offsprings! Vera was Rut´s competition horse for many years with results and has also 8.26 for riding abilities, eg 9 for tölt and spirit. Sær from Bakkakot is does not have to intrudes - a powerfull honor price stallion!!

Herdís from Holtsmúli

Herdís is a extreme promising mare foal after then honor price stallion Sær from Bakkakot. Her mother is Héla from Ósi which is a first price mare after Gustur from Hóli. Héla is a special Gustur-daughter with 9 for both tölt and main! Héla is also the mother of Hrímnir from Ósi, which got 9.5 for trot and tölt only 5 years old.

Herdís is a beautiful foal with great exterior. Her movements are also very good. She has a special glimpse in her eyes and we really have a great feeling for her!!

Katla from Eyland - IS2011184086

Katla is after Keila from Bjarnastaðir and Hrafnar form Ragnheiðarstaðir. Keila is the second highest judged mare after Keilir from Miðsitju with 8.34 in total and is proving to be a good brood mare as well. Keila had a impressing moments on the tract and was in 4th place in both five years and seven years old class of breeding mares on Landsmót 2002 and 2004. Keila has in total 8.34 with 9 for pace and willingness. Hrafnar on the other hand is a promising stallion prospect born 2008 and is after Orri from Þúfa and the famous Hátíð from Úlfstaðir (10 for tölt). We were not planning on bringing one of our best mare to a unshown stallion but we were fascinated by Hrafnar when we saw him only 2 years old.
