Vaka is a fivegated mare after Orri from Þúfa and Vænting from Stóra-Hof. Vaka has a really strong bloodline and in our opinion is a asset to have in breeding. She was shown four years old and got 8.22 for confirmation and 7.50 for riding abilities, in total 7.81. She has been in foals since but we trained her for last winter and she was shown again this summer - she has the great total score of 7.99?! :) She has much more to give than the judgment indicates but this is how it is.
She has a lot of power and willingness, very long strides and stable gates. And her confirmation is great. We have a lot of belief that Vaka will be a great asset for us as a future breeding mare in Eyland. She is now pregnant with Krákur from Blesastaðir.
