Stallions and stallion-use..
At the moment we have some exciting young stallions eg. Dagfari from Eylandi, Hattur from Eyland and Glaður from Mykjunes. We have shares in honor price stallion Aron from Strandarhöfuð, Klettur from Hvammur and Hákon from Ragnheiðarstaðir. Then Davíð´s father owns the stunning stallion Byr from Mykjunes.
We have shares in two stallions, the great Klettur from Hvammi and the young stallion Hákon from Ragnheiðarstaðir. We would like to own more shares in some interesting stallion; we don´t know what stallion will be next, jet.. When we pick stallions to you for our mares there are some things we consider but sometimes the moment and impression captures! We always use on some of our mares stallions that has proven themself to be breeding horses eg. the honor price stallions Keilir from Miðsitja, Hróður from Refsstaðir, Sær from Bakkakot and the honor price stallion to be, Aron from Strandarhöfði. The qualities that we seek are much willingness and good spirit, softness in gates and natural tölt, high movements and impressive general impression! We have been using many fivegated stallions for the last years, eg. Vilmundur from Fet, Trúr from Auðsholtshjáleigu, Klettur from Hvammi, Ómur from Kvistum, Andri from Vatnsleysa. But we have also used some great fourgates, eg. Álfur from Selfoss, Taktur from Tjarnaland, Framherji from Flagbjarnarholt, Herjólfur form Ragnheiðarstaðir and Sveinn-Hervar from Þúfa.
