Askja at Landsmót 2012
Askja has great bloodline being after the first price mare Elja from Þingeyrum and Akkur from Brautarholt. Askja is a graceful mare that goes on trot and tölt with high movements but all of Elja´s offsprings seem to inherit her impressive movements but she has 9 for form under rider. Askja started her training very well and qualified for Landsmót 2012 - she did us proud and got 9 for pace as well as 8.5 for tölt and willingness! Only 4 years old. She got 8.20 for riding abilities and in total 8.08! Askja and Bylgja Gauks did a amazing job!!
She was shown again the spring of 2013 and received 8.41 for riding abilities! We are very proud owners and breeders of this great young mare! More info here.

Dagfari after three months of training
Dagfari is after our Vera which is a big favorite of ours. Very early on he became very big and mature. He has very high movements as he has bloodline to be.. Dagfari goes both on tölt and trot. In 2009 he participated in a foal competition and got into finals. The judge was Kristinn Hugason and he described Dagfari as "mature foal with well positioned neck and extremely soft and high movements". We have high expectations for Dagfari. More info here.

Þjórsá from Eyland - IS2008284082 - sold
Þjórsá after only 3 months of training!!
Þjórsá is a fascinating mare that captured our eye early on. She is after the Aronson Jakob from Árbæ and Föl from Ási II, her bloodline could be better but her posture and gates are great. She is so delicate, elegant and goes on very high movement tölt and trot. The aim is breeding show the spring of 2013. Now owned by Karl Piber in Austria.

Hávar from Mykjunes II - IS2008186976 - died
Hávar is a very mature young stallion that captures our eyes. He has high and strong shoulders, long and soft neck as well as good movements. Hávar is after Klettur from Hvammi and Hrafndís from Hofi which is after the great Hrafn from Holtsmúla. Promising fivegater with clear strong gates and good movements!
