Perla in the summer 2010
Perla from Hólshús is a gorgeous fourgater after Illingur from Tóftum and Blika from Hólshús. Perla has great bloodline being after Illingur from Tóftum a unique stallion that has proved himself both in breeding shows and with his offsprings. Perla´s mother has some great offsprings, eg. Þruma from Hólshúsum that went 1.price only five years old with 9.5 for tölt as well as other good offsprings.
Perla has some great qualities; soft, high movements combined with clear good gates. Her confirmation is good but she has received 8.23 for that part. She was shown last summer and received 8.5 for tölt and form under rider, in total 7.89. But she has ALOT more to give. She has the potential to go in star judgment.. But we are so enthusiastic to breed from her that we decided to bring her to Álfur from Selfoss last summer and she will get their foal in June! We are very excited..

We own Perla with our good friends, Hannes and Inga at Hamarsey. We are thinking about taking Perla in again for more training in next years to get a good judgment that she deserves.. Below is her judgement from last summer.
