Askja from Mykjunes - IS2008286725
Our four year old mare Askja from Mykjunes has qualified for Landmót. She participated in the FIZO breeding show in Selfoss last week. She did us very proud and reached 8.03 for riding abilities and in total 7.97. Askja is after our Elja from Þingeyri and Akkur from Brautarholt. She is breed by us and is the first horse from our breeding to participate in a FIZO show.
Askja has very good gates but her pace is very promising. In this first show Askja got 5 x 8.5 - for pace, spirit, back, proportions and hoofs.
We are very proud of Askja and her rider Bylgja Gauksdóttir. They both did a great job! Now Askja has couple of weeks off but then her training will continue for Landsmót in Reykjavík! Very exciting :)
