Þjórsá in February 2012
Þjórsá is a young mare turning four this summer, so born 2008. She is after Föl from Ás II which has bloodline out of Feykir from Hafsteinsstaðir, sheá gets her grey color from him. Þjórsá´s father is Jakob from Árbær, a promising stallion after Aron from Strandarhöfuð.
Þjórsá is turning out to be a little star - at least our little star. We are excited to watch her and she how she progresses. She has a fantastic tölt and good balance for a such a young horse, as well as high movements. At the moments she is trained as a fourgater but we thank she has a pace.
HERE is a short video taken in April. Þjórsá is now trained for 4 months by her trainer Bylgja Gauksdóttir which is doing a great job with her!!
