Askja and her rider Bylgja Gauksdóttir were successful on Landsmót in Reykjavík. Askja got 8.20 for riding abilities and in total 8.08. She got impressive marks for such a young horse - highest being 9 for pace and 8.5 for tölt, willingness, back, proportions and hoofs.
We are extremely proud of Askja. She is the first horse that we breed and enters a breeding show - so we could not ask for more! Askja is after Elja from Þingeyrar and the fallen star Akkur from Brautarholti.
