Aron from Strandarhöfuð
Aron from Strandarhöfuð is a stallion that most breeders are familiar with. He has been proofing himself as one of Iceland´s best breeding horses! Aron is after Óður from Brún and Yrsa from Skjálg, there are many high judged and known stallions and mares in his bloodline eg. Ósk from Brún and Stígur from Kjartansstaðir.
Aron´s offsprings have been impressing people with their success on the breeding track in early age. At Landsmót 2008 Aron got 1.price for offsprings and now this fall he got honor price with 121 in Blup. Very impressing for a 12 years old stallion! Aron´s offsprings take a lot after their father, many have the same color and the "yellow" ears, high legs and natural tölt. After the summer 2010 Aron had 76 judged offsprings, 31 of them have 1.price already!

Karen from Árbær (7.99)
We are very found of Aron and at the moment we own four offspings. Firstly there is our, Karen from Árbæ, she is after the first price mare Venus from Árbær. Karen was shown last summer, then five years old and received first price for riding abilities and 7.99 in total. Karen has much more to give with more strength and we are aiming on breeding shows and fivegate competitions next summer.
Hátíð from Fellskoti is another Arondaughter and she has very interesting bloodline being after Hnota from Fellskot! That makes her the sister of the famous stallion Hnokki from Fellskoti. Hátíð is a fantastic mare that we have big plans for.. Her best qualities is her 100% spirit and natural high movement tölt! Her pace is very promising. She will be shown next spring.
Both Karen and Hátíð are future breeding mare at Eyland. They both have very exciting qualities and bloodlines that we want to have in our breeding. We are very excited to get their foals in some years..

Dagfari from Eyland - 2 years old stallion
Baldur from Lækjarbotnar is a promising stallion after Aron and the first price fourgater, Álfheiður-Björk from Lækjarbotnar. Baldur has first price for confirmation and will be show in riding next spring. Unfortunatly he got sick in the flue last summer so we didn´t get the opportunity to show him. He has very good trot and gallop, his walk is rare seen - amazing! Very exciting competition horse.
Then there is our little guy, Dagfari from Eyland, he is a stallion prospect after Vera from Ingólfshvoli (8.26 for riding abilities). He is two years old and has always catch our eye in the field with his extreme movements and calm and friendly character!
